Smoke & Soak

Call

      me

           cliché

         but

           I

        dropped

                   rose

               petals

              &

         lit

candles

In the house, the bathtub’s bubbling, jump in with me

let me massage your sore muscles with coconut oil

we’ll later use as a lubricant, but only after I see

your green apple grooves and watch you skin an orange,

pulling apart the slices to share with me

My clothes are laid over the floors so mango messy

it reminds me of our lovemaking, I haven't kissed you

yet but I can taste you already, I want you so bad

I’ve been marinating a joint in between my breast

to watch you smoke me & I can nestle in you

the way you rest in me and I do that little clench

trick that gets you every time

The dusty smoked air in the bathroom is trapping

our throats & all I can think is how I want to take you

captive using my thighs, drench my lips in honey

so you can suck them off

as your face pulls away from mine I see the residue

of our paste

Once our wrinkly toes touch the cool tiles chase me

to the couch where we’ll cuddle before we spark

impassioned sexual experimenting

Before the night ends, I want to see your handprints

on the car windows while we’re in the parking lot

of Shake Shack, so we have the option to satisfy

our doubled desires

I’ll ask you again to use the coconut oil to rub the nape

of my neck and you’ll use your fingertips to trail down

to my solar plexus & gaze at my body’s skill to turn cherry red
